About Michael Waters

Michael Waters is the Founder and Owner of A.I.Y. Systems Group, an electrical contractor that focuses on lighting, gate systems, and emergency power solutions (generators and uninterrupted power supply).

With more than 40 years of experience across advanced manufacturing, electrical systems, HVACR, automation, workforce development, and operational leadership, Michael brings a rare combination of technical expertise, systems thinking, robotics, industrial psychology, safety, and real-world industrial experience.

​

In previous positions, Michael has supported world-class manufacturing and industrial operations through construction / project management, workforce development, technical training, operational performance initiatives, and systems-oriented problem solving.

Michael holds:

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology

• Bachelor's degree in GS/Psychology, Business & Math

• Master of Science in Applied Engineering

• Graduate Certificate in Occupational Safety & Environmental Compliance

He also maintains multiple Georgia professional licenses including:

• Georgia Electrical Contractor License (Master / Non-Restricted)

• Georgia Low Voltage Contractor License (Unrestricted)

• Georgia Conditioned Air Contractor License (Unrestricted)

• NCCER Certified Trainer: HVAC and Electrical
